Another publication using our MM-0289-APC 28B7 for p24 double staining detection of HIV+ cells.

Our  has been used in a recent publication in Nature communications by Bertram KL et al. using the double staining method described in  to monitor the HIV positive cells and identify a cell population important in HIV propagation.

Briefly, researchers have identified a cell population, identified as epidermal CD11c+ DCs, located in the anogenital tissue that was easily infected by HIV very efficient in transmitting HIV to CD4+ T cells. Their findings suggest that this cell subtype might play an important in early HIV infection and propagation.
